Local start-up Feast is in the test phase of their gourmet meal delivery service. They’ve enlisted some A-list foodie talent and acquired eye catching bikes and cars for delivery.

I attended a dinner party a couple of weekends ago and before dinner the hostess served a beautiful charcuterie platter. The highlight of the platter for me was a rich, creamy, ricotta cheese. As it turns out, my host made the cheese and it’s easier than you think.
I was out for dinner last night at a little Italian restaurant. i thought I’d play it safe and order a pasta dish but when it arrived it was rather disappointing, not as good as can be created at home with just eggs and flour.
Nothing highlights the evils of the North American diet more than looking in people’s shopping carts. They are filled with boxed meals, microwave ready, highly processed foods…but there’s hope.
